1. Download da tomcat.apache.org dei binary di tomcat (tar.gz) e i connectors (.so) per i586

(ad esempio file: apache-tomcat-6.0.14.tar.gz - jdk-63u-linux-i586.bin - mod_jk-1.2.23-apache-2.2.x-linux-i685.so) Il connectors serve solo se si vuole installare anche apache. Attenzione: il connector di tomcat con apache dipende dal version di apache

1. unpack tomcat in /opt/ e rinominare in /opt/tomcat
2. se si installa anche apache: spostare connectors in /usr/lib/apache2/modules e rinominare in mod_jk.so
